12 weeks - eating how often?

Hello,

Sorry if this has been asked b/c I haven't been on here but how often is your 12 week old eating?  My baby boy is at a healthy weight and I just realized I might be able to drop a feeding because I seem to be directing it still v. him waking to eat during a daytime nap.

Currently nursing 5 times a day and sleeping 8-10 hours per night. 

Does anyone know if I can try to drop to 4 feedings per day?  Or just try it?

You could try, but you should really just feed on demand. Feeding on demand will allow your supply to change as LO does. Just follow LOs cues..if he doesn't seem hungry, don't feed him. Some days he may only eat 4 times a day, then he may hit a growth spurt and want to eat every 2 hours.
