I have never understood the bike-in-the-snow people. DH & I used to live in Uptown, and they were everywhere there. Weirdos.
My DH spent a year in Wyoming going to tech school for Auto Body Repair and he rode his bike in the snow. He grew up in California and said he did it because he was afraid to drive on the ice.
I suppose you could still crash on your bike if you hit black ice, but it would be a little less scary than if you're in an out-of-control vehicle.

I suppose.
But, yes, they are crazy.
Oh, Saucy, the peeps in Uptown are hipster types who tend to be uber-aggressive bike people. They drive me up the wall. I wouldn't lump your hubby in with them. There were also people snowshoeing downtown. The snow brings out the crazies.
LMAO. I am picturing people in cardigans, plaid scarves, wool jackets and fedoras snowshoeing down Main Street.

I retract previous statement.
