I have a plan with unlimited texting and picture messages, but I do not have internet.

I just sent a bunch of picture messages to my e-mail, so how does that work out? Do I have to pay for those? I'd think not since I sent them as pi messages, but I'm not sure.

No, I don't pay for internet either and I send pic messages all the time.  You shouldn't be charged.

It shouldn't charge you. We send pics to facebook all the time.
