I hate laundry!!

I have so much laundry to do and so little motivation. It also doesn't help that I live in a 3 story townhouse and our bedroom is on the 3rd floor and the laundry room is on the 1st floor. But since I have no clean underwear left, I guess it's time to suck it up!! UGHHH.

  • I'm the same way....although I don't hate doing it just folding it and putting it away.  Good luck!

Yes, exactly!! It's not actually doing the laundry, it's the part after it's done that I hate.

  • I'm the same way, and the sink is full of dishes too. But...here I sit.

  • Huge fan of throwing my dirty clothes from the second floor to the first (where my washer/dryer is). They just land in a pile on the floor. I have so much to do today.. laundry, thank you notes from our wedding and the kitchen. My husband scored major points by going out and getting me my favorite treat, so I don't feel like I can ask too much more of him. Our house has not been too fun for him over the past 10 weeks. :)

  • I hate laundry too.

Just throw all of your laundry down the stairs, that way it all ends up on the same floor, or even easier, lean over a railing and drop it. It might be fun, and leave you with energy to pick the laundry off the floor and drop it into the washer.

I live in an apartment with 2 washers and dryers for 30 apartments. Not only do I have to lug it up and down the stairs and across the yard, but then I have to fight my neighbors for a washer, and deal with them removing my stuff if they think its their turn.

I do NOT miss apartment life on laundry days (sometimes when the lawn needs mowing...).  I would usually end up taking it to my mom's when I lived in an apartment (where I did it, just at her house).

Now... let's just say when we buy our next house, the washer/dryer will not be in the garage.  It's so cold!!

This reminds me that I now need to remove my asss from the couch and move the laundry through.  Let me get my slippers and coat...

  • My DH would say it is time to go to Ross. WHen I first met him, I don't think I had met ANYONE with as much underwear and socks as he had. He lived in an awful apartment complex (the apartment was actually was actually awesome with views of the golden gate, but the laundry machines at your clothing) and he justified that it was cheaper to buy new at ross than to do your own.

  • Im going through the same thing.  I hate doing laundry because i also have to run up and down couple flights of stairs, then finally getting downstairs to find out that someone else's clothes are in the washers.. IT SUCKS!
