No BFing for 3 days

i landed in the hospital for the 4th time since having ds. i had to get antibiotics and pain medication for my gall bladder and i am having it taken out this week. my problem is that they told me i can't breastfeed for 72 hours. i am worried ds won't latch on after having only bottle for those 3 days. he has gone back and forth between breast and bottle since birth, so he takes well to both. i will  just be so upset if i have to stop breastfeeding him. does anyone have any experience with something like this? tia

I stopped BFing for 5 days before deciding I wasn't ready to quit. It took a day for her to latch back on consistently...a couple of times I ended up starting with a bottle then switching to boob. I'm sure my supply had something to do with it too. Good luck to you!
