I remember being worried about this as well, but don't worry. Baby is well cushioned in your uterus and amniotic fluid. Make sure you're wearing your seatbelt properly (lap belt under your belly and on top of your legs - cross-belt between your breasts and down your side - not on top of your belly).
No worries, mama! You just need to be concerned if you're in an accident. The average quick and sudden brake will do no harm to baby.
I had to slam on the brakes a couple times while I was running errands earlier. People are CRAZY today!
And some old man scratched up my car in the Sam's parking lot because he was trying to get his shopping cart in between my car and another one. The space was obviously too small, but he shoved his stupid cart through anyway. What a champ.

As far as the old guy, did you ask for his insurance information or ask him to pay out of pocket - these are the things that indicate to me this old guy should not be driving!!! He can't even manouver a shopping care safely!!! GL
