Newborn congestion

How long does it take before newborn congestion finally clears up?

Ugh. I know, my little guy is still congested whenever we lay him flat. We use a humidifier all the time. Just went to pedi the other day for his 2 month and she suggested giving him a good warm bath before bedtime and pour warm water over his face (nice, I know), but will help loosen the congestion.

I think it just varies, everyone is different even LO's... my LO is having that too and is having a hard time eating, we just went to the pedi yesterday he suggested just doing the humidifier, keep her sleeping at an angle, and we bought a vicks childrens plug in for the wall since she is still too young for baby rub she actually does sound a lot better today, so hopefully her eating will pick up, in the mean time we're just giving her a little pedialyte to keep her hydrated, been a loooong couple weeks at our house! good luck!!!
