Question from 3rd Tri (belly bandit sizing)

Hey ladies,

I have a quick question about belly bandit sizing. It says to measure in your 8th month since you'll be about that size right after birth. Everything I've heard is people are usually smaller than 8 months right after birth. It's being given to me as a gift but I want to order the correct size.

Also if anyone has used one what was your experience like? TIA

I measured myself at 8 months and then ordered the size smaller than that. I'm glad I did. HTH

Thanks! How has it worked for you? Do you like it or would you recommend just getting something from Target/walmart that's cheaper?

Actually, I would recommend saving the money and getting something from Target or Walmart for $10. The BB is really uncomfortable (especially to sit in) and it doesn't look great under clothes.

I may be in the minority, but I kind of wish I hadn't spent so much on it. I know a lot of people love theirs so IDK..

I agree. There are some on Amazon.com that are a lot cheaper and have better reviews.

I agree too! It's so uncomfortable I wore for about 2 weeks and gave up

I was also much smaller after birth than 8 months pregnant. I'm glad I didn't go by their guidelines. I knew what my waist measured before getting pregnant and made sure I had 5 or 6 extra inches and went with that size.

I agree with PPs that the Belly Bandit is quite uncomfortable. For me it always rode up above my hips creating a pooch in my lower belly. I was contstantly pulling it down. I only wore it 3 weeks. I think it works though but it's annoying to wear!
