I spent my days off of work this week weaning DS from bottles.  He was down to only 3 bottles a day anyway so I thought I might as well just kick them all together.  The first sippy-instead-of-bottle was rough, second went over better, and by the third he got the picture.  It was a struggle but after 2 days he didn't seem to care and was still taking 6-8oz each feeding so no loss of fluids or nourishment either. 

Today while I was at work, DH gave only bottles.  When I tried to give a sippy tonight DS FLIPPED OUT.  FML.  I'm so tired of DH being lazy and undoing hard parenting I've done.  We had even discussed the weaning before I did it and he claimed he was on board.  I am so mad.

Oh boy, I would be so mad also. I hope the next round of weaning goes quick.  I would also be having a good long talk with DH. I swear, they don't listen even if they say they are and can answer questions about it.

Yes, we talked about it.  I am having a hard time believing he won't derail my efforts again though.  Part of me is thinking of just packing up all of the bottles and giving them away, except one ... and taking that one to work with me where he won't be able to use it. 

I really hope that he doesn't give bottles tomorrow or Sunday while I'm working.
