NBR : Brunch

I get together about once a month or so with 2 other friends, this month instead of going to lunch one of them is having us over for brunch at her house.  She's making some egg thing and creme brule french toast. The other girl is bringing things to make smoothies.  I'm at a loss as to what I should bring.

I orginally thought a fruit tray, but with the smoothies that seems like over kill in the fruit department. Then I thought a coffee cake, but that seems sweet with the creme brule french toast. So I'm out of ideas, and thought I'd ask you guys, since you always have great ideas!

Mmmm... I love me some brunch.

Since it seems like the breakfast items are taken care of, why don't you bring some kind of lunch item?  Mini sandwiches, a light calzone, or a green salad of some kind?

I know you mentioned that one friend is making an egg thing, but what about a quiche for a diferent type of egg thing? Or, why not offer to bring champagne and OJ/Peach Nectar to make mimosas/bellinis?
