I wish no one ever had to talk about this, but I'm happy when people do.  I hate how "hush-hush" it all seems to be.  Thanks for posting!

I agree. I went to dinner with my friend the other night and since I hadn't told many people, I felt comfortable telling her even though she was someone I used to work with. Not even an old, dear friend but when you know who you can talk to, you just do. So she asked about kids and I told her "well, I can tell you" and I did. Her demeanor changed and she said "I miscarried my first". I could tell even after two kids (the oldest being 17) the pain is still fresh. She told me that when it happened to her, she felt like a freak of nature and wish other women talked about it even back then when she got pregnant. 

I think we both sat at that booth connected more than we ever thought we would be.
