Crampy crampy pain

I've been crampy for a week now.  I went to the dr on Monday and he said everything looks good.  I'm not sure what's causing my cramping, but it's bad enough to keep me awake at night!  I don't know if it's the extra stretching due to having twins or if my monster fibroid is being annoying, but I just want to lie down and not move.

Anyone else having pain, or is everyone lucky enough to enjoy the 2nd Tri honeymoon?

  • I am SO right there with you.  I also have large fibroids, and don't know if that's what's making me feel so much misery, or is it just my uterus expanding.  Started about 5 days ago, and hasn't gotten that much better.  My doctor didn't seem too concerned, and I'm relieved to see I'm not the only one out there!
  • Sorry to hear about the crampyness!  I hope 2nd tri gets better for you!

I am with both you. I also have a large fibroid. I get crampy every once and a while when I am laying down. Dr is not concerned but its annoying. I think to myself if its like this now what the hell am I going to to through when the baby starts really putting on weight.

  • I'm right there with you.  I asked my OB about it yesterday.  I'm having 2 different kinds of crampy pain.

One is pretty intense at times, but only lasts for a short while.  My OB said it's RLP.

The 2nd is tighening and pressure in my lower abdomen.  I consulted Dr. Google earlier this week and self-diagnosed Braxton Hicks.  My OB confimred this yesterday.

He said that MoM deal with both of these with greater intensity and frequency because our ute gets larger more quickly than singleton moms.

I hope you feel better soon!
