Still no AF 9 weeks later??

Good Evening Ladies! I had a m/c 9 weeks ago (I was about 8-1/2 week along when I m/c). I only bled about 1 week. Well now its been 9 weeks since and still no AF. I have taken numerous pregnancy tests and they are all negative. My doctor said if she does not arrive by the end of this week them they'll do a blood pregnancy test... and if that is negative then they will have to put me on something to start my period. Anybody know anything about this? I'm nervous.

This happened to me too.  They will probably put you on provera, which you will take for like 10 days - and then 2 days later (or so) AF will arrive.

It took me 13 weeks to get AF post D&C.

I'm sorry for your loss and welcome to the board.  

AF took 8 weeks to arrive for me, so I somewhat know what you are feeling.  The waiting game sucks.

Like PP said, your doctor will probably put you on progesterone for 7-10 days and then AF is supposed to arrive 3-10 days after your last pill.  GL!

I had a stillbirth 14 weeks ago today. I just finally got AF 2 days ago. But of course, AF waited til I had a pelvic us, 10 more tubes of blood drawn and I had dropped the rx off at the pharmacy- and then showed when I got home! My OB had rxd progesterone. The only thing she told me about it was that it'd make me sleepy and that if by chance I was very early on in a pg it wouldnt hurt. GL and I hope AF shows soon!

I know how hard the wait is.. it took me exactly 100 days from the date of my D&C to get my AF.  Have you had your HCG beta levels checked?  If not you might want to ask for that test.. I started to get checked at week 3 post D&C and then went weekly to week 10 for the level to be below 5 (which is considered normal level).  Then 30 days later my AF showed up on Thanksgiving!  Hope you get an AF soon!
