Quick question

Ok so DH and I have settled on the CD system we'll be using...but I have no idea what I need as far as inventory. I'm planning on purchasing 3 dozen prefolds in infant and regular sizes...but after that I'm lost.

Should I buy 3 dozen each of covers and snappies, too? Or do you think 18 of each would suffice?

We have 24 prefolds in each size and only 6 covers of each size.

You can re-use covers, as long as they're not soiled or stinky. A lot of people just hang them up to dry out between uses, and can technically cycle through 2 covers. But it's  usually recommended to have about 4-6, just in case.

You can really get away with one Snappi, but 2 is a good idea in case you lose one or it breaks for some reason.

Please don't think you need 18 covers and Snappis!

Ditto Dr.L! You only need 4-5 covers and 2 snappis.  Covers can be resued until there is poop on it.
