So the past few days my DD has been developing some bad habits that I don't know how to kick.
1.) When she is sick of doing something, wants something, or is bored she yells. Yelling is the only way I can explain it, she's not crying but it's almost like she's trying to force/fake a cry. I've been trying to hold off on going to her until she starts actually crying, but the yelling just gets so loud.
2.) When she would wake at night/morning as soon as I would take her out of her crib she would calm right down. But lately when I take her out she continues to cry. It made me feel great to know that I was what she wanted, now the only way I can make her stop crying is to give her the paci. Should I not give her the paci when she acts like this?
Anyone else experiencing these habits? Any advice on what I should do would be great. TIA.
Re: DD just "yells"
My DS has started to "yell" too. It doesn't bother me. They are learning how to make new sounds and use their vocal cords.
I don't have any advice on # 2. Is she really hungry when she wakes up?
No, I don't think so, she used to STTN and since she has been doing this whole paci business she has been waking up 2-3x a night so I;m not really sure. If it's a growth spurt, its a really long one bc shes been doing this for like 10 days....
