I went to my first high risk appointment today and I was super nervous and I was getting sick from being scared. They said that my blood pressure was high and they let me wait a little while before they started talking about a plan for my how they were going to handle everything from here on out. Well the resident that I got was really nice and she made me feel comfortable.
She explained to me in more detail what exactly is wrong with me which is, I have Placenta Previa and it is complete, I also have Placenta Percreta which is very rare. Mine is more difficult for them to decide on how they are going to handle everything because it is on the back of my uterus instead of the front like it usually is. She said that they will need to scan me a few more times. She also said that there is a good chance that they will need to call in other specialist that specialize on my other organs for in case my placenta is attacking them. She said they might need to do the surgery in the main OR instead of the L&D OR. She then told me to wait a little while and she brought in the head doctor.
He told me that in his 30yrs of doing this he has never seen a case like mine. Which makes me super nervous because if they haven't dealt with this and it can be life threatening how do I know they know how to handle this. I am super scared and I feel like everything is out of control.
I am sorry this turned out so long.... I tried to make it short but it didnt work
