Cloth Diapering

Is there a such thing as a stay-dry fitted?

It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to line the inside of the diaper with fleece & make the top layer of inserts fleece.  Or am I missing something?  I love the absorbency of fitteds but hate that DS wakes up red in them.  I've used fleece liners but I'm just wondering why doesn't someone make a fleece-lined fitted?  Or do they and I just haven't heard of it?

  • First of all let me say you're sig pic is so freakin adorable!! :)

And I also have not run across a stay dry fitted. I almost always use a fleece liner during the day, and at night I use an Sbish snappless fitted with a SMJAE hemp doubler on top because it's lined with stay dry fleece. It keeps LO's parts down there nice and dry.

  • You might want to look into the Motherease Sandy's with the stay dry liner.  I've used that with both my kids (the Sandy's were their nap and bedtime diapers).  For bedtime since they sleep 12 hours I add a hemp insert and never had redness issues.  I liked that although its a fitted- its a wide range- I think 8lbs to 20 (but my DS wore them until he PT when he was 17 months old- he was @ 25 lbs at the time).
