So, LO often needs some time to warm up to folks, and I'm thinking just plopping her in the lap of a stranger in a beard is not going to fly. Any tips before we head there?
My BIL dressed up as Santa for a work (kids) party. DD watched him put the suit on. When he was fully dressed, she began looking around the room as if to say "where did Uncle go?!?!" We gave her to him and immediately she cried.
I am going to go out on a limb and say there's nothing more that I could do to make her like Santa, except wait a few years.
I'll still be getting the yearly Santa photos though! (Albeit with a screaming child)
I don't know that there's really anything you can do. My guy is pretty calm and relaxed with most people, but he cried with Santa. I think it's not so much who IS holding him, but who IS NOT holding him. He may have no issues with Santa, but he sees his Mom and Dad about 5 feet away and would rather be with them.
I would just take him and see what happens. He may surprise you and if he doesn't like it, it's only for a few seconds that he is on Santa's lap. Have fun!
