We just moved into a new rental with a front loading washing machine. I've tried adding gallons of water, letting them soak. Doing a cold soak, then a cold wash, then a hot wash with an extra rinse. The diapers smell pretty clean, but I'm getting stains on my synthetic fiber dipes and that has never been a problem for me before. I'm also having more leaks, which I think might have something to do with the new washer.

We wash in planet and I'm not sure what type of water we have, but I think it's minerally, because sometimes it looks whitish.

 Any suggestions?
