Question for Jewish Moms!

Hi Ladies -

I'm a piano teacher, and I'd like to give out small gifts to all of my students this month (something small, like a plate of cookies and a card), but I have quite a few Jewish families that I teach, and I don't want to offend anyone by giving them a gift during the week of Christmas.  I also don't want to offend them by excluding them from the gift-giving, and I don't want to offend all of the students that celebrate Christmas by not giving anything at all. 

So, here's my question - if I was YOUR piano teacher, would you be offended if I brought you a plate of cookies, and a "happy holidays" card during the week of Christmas, assuming that none of the cookies were in the shapes of any religious figures? 

... I really should have given my Jewish students their cookies/card last week for Hanukkah...  definitely my fault for not thinking about this sooner...  

Thoughts?  Suggestions?

It's the holiday season! Its not just Christmas or just Hanukkah... go for it. I wouldn't be offended but not much offends me anyway

you're over-thinking this.  give the cookies and card and I'm sure everyone will appreciate your thoughtfulness!!

Sorry maybe i'm on my own out here but yes i would be offended if you gave me a card and cookies during the week of xmas knowing that you knew i don't celebrate x-mas.

Not offended, but maybe a little bummed.  To play it safe... make it about wishing them a Happy New Year, since that's a holiday everyone celebrates and it's right after Christmas, which doesn't make it weird at all.

I wouldn't be offended even if they WERE in Christmas shapes.  Cookies are cookies, and it's the thought that counts!

 Seriously? I mean its not like she is giving mini santas and mini dreidels.. she is giving holiday cookies out. This is the holiday season, it is not about religion. I think if you were offended you might be the one standing alone.
