Just an idea I'd like to throw out for those of you who mentioned you were thinking of trying counseling. Talk to your HR and find out if your company has an EAP (employee assistance program) and if they offer any counseling sessions or discounts. I definitely would have been more reluctant to try it if it was coming out of pocket, but on our previous plan we had 3 sessions paid for, this new plan we're on they pay for 8.. and that is per issue. You do have to go with whatever counselor they recommend but just thought I'd put it out there, you might have resources available that don't cost you anything. And the more I go over the visit in my head, the more I feel like just defining stress has helped me, today has been a horrible day at work and yet I keep looking at the knee jerk stress reaction, processing whats happening, and crazily enough I've been handling it pretty well despite near disaster at work.

Also, you can check if your spouse has an EAP. My DH's company has an EAP and I was able to take advantage of it as his spouse even when I wasn't on his insurance. His plan allows for 6 visits at no cost per issue.
I am really really glad that it seems to have helped a bit!
