So were all stuck in a confrence room as they build our offices in this new building. There are 15 people in here, we all get along.

Well my co-worker... Like to suck up and "save the company money"

So we all rag on him that it's not necessary, the company will buy us office supplies.. But he still goes and shakes the printer cartridge because he claims that we can get more ink out of it and save the company money.

Well today, I'm given a project and needed to print out 48 pages of product lists. And Guess who can't read it.. that's right ME.

Dumb@ss has the nerve to tell me I should have shook the cartridge before printing, because that's what I think about when working on a priority project.

I hate those people who try and suck every last drop out of everything and end up causing more problems in the end! I agree with saving money, but come on, some of it just isn't worth the headache in the end!

What a tool!  Nothing makes workplace moral drop faster than having to fight with equipment or not having the proper supplies.  The cost of your lost productivity today easily could have paid for a printer cartridge!

Ugh, people like that drive me insane - I agree with babytrippin, the amount of time you spent correcting that ridiculousness probably cost the company more than it would have just to replace the cartridge!

What an ass! I must confess, I shake the toner all the time on my own printer. I can get a good 300 extra pages printed just by shaking it a few times at work, they can afford to replace the cartridge without me shaking it though.

UGH!  My school district is extremely tight with $$ (isn't every business these days??) -- and they tell us to take the print cartridge out and shake it.  I recall one time I asked for a new print cartridge and was told to shake it - and I did, but the friggin thing was EMPTY - and I had to print something for my a parent that was needed ASAP, and they refused to give me a new one.  I went into someone's office (someone important, although I won't say who!  LoL) and stole their print cartridge!  LoL -- I know they were given a new cartridge ASAP, and I was able to print the notes I needed for the parent.  A win - win, so I didn't even feel guilty about it! 

Soooooo - is there someone you can steal a cartridge from?  The boss maybe?
