Got the 1st betas back!

Got today's betas back! HCG was 5,395. Progesterone was 20.24.

That's in a normal range, right? The nurse seemed to think it was.

I go back on Thursday to have them taken again and see if they are doubling. I hope they are!! But, seeing the numbers somewhat normal makes me hopeful that this pregnancy will stick, unlike the last one. I know it doesn't mean that it will, but it gives me hope! 

 EDIT: I'm 5w2d today.

See this where I get a little envious, my betas seem to be doubling fine but my numbers are not huge like yours are. (j/k but I am off to will in a corner Your numbers sound great hon!

Those numbers sound great to me!! And I have to say, I love when I see you post because your daughter is absolutely gorgeous and I love that baby picture of her, it should be on the cover of a magazine ha ha

Thanks ladies! Rockelle, your numbers are doubling and that's what's important! That is great in itself!! And thanks hunter about the photos. They are two of my favorites.

Are quads and HCG the same thing? When I was in the ER getting fluids last night they did some blood work and she told me about my quads and said that was meaning how pregnant I am.  I was totally spaced out and forgot to ask her.

The Quad screen -- I thought -- was the first blood test to check for any abnormalities... but I thought it was done around the time of the NT scan... or even later.
