Hi!
My twin girls just turned 1 and DH and I are thinking about trying for another lo soon. It took a lot of time and medical intervention for my girls, but we're just going to see what happens this time around.
Is anyone trying for another one after their set of multiples? Or if you already have more than your set of multiples, how how is it?? If all goes well (which things never go according to plan, but humor me), the girls will be around 2 when the new lo is born. Hopefully, we'll have another one by the time the girls are 3. So, tell me your experiences if you've already gone through this, or if not, do you plan on having more and when?
Re: Anyone trying for another lo soon?
I am pregnant right now with our 4th...due sometime later this month, the triplets will be just shy of 2 1/2 when he is born. We MAY try for one more after this too. I can't tell you what's it's like adding another yet, but I can tell you this pregnancy has been a dream compared to the triplets
Good luck!
DH and i have been discussing this as well. I have no advice but wanted to tell you DH and i are nervous but we figure whats 2 more hahaha!
We were very blessed in that our twins were spontanious and on the 2nd month of TTC. So we are nervous that if we start TTC #3 now we will get pg right away again and what if its twins again which we know is slim. but we do realize we were very blessed the first time around and dont want to assume it will happen fast and wait to long this time around so we are debating on starting to TCC w/in 6 mo.

BFP Nov 09 - c/p Dec 09
BFP Dec 09 - A&J born in August 2010 at 37w, 6d
BFP Sept 11 - ectopic pregnancy/left tube removed
BFP April 12 - E born December 2012 at 39w, 1d
This, except it was first time ever having unprotected sex (together). We are going to actively start TTC after Christmas, though.....when the twins turn 1
I want more!!!
Took me 4 IVFs for these two, so the chances of me getting pregnant on my own is slim to none. I'm planning on heading back to the RE in a few months and possibly cycle in April/May timeframe. If that cycle works out, the boys will be 1.5 when the new baby arrives. I love my boys but I don't think I can do twin toddlers plus twin infants, so I'm thinking hard about doing a SET next time.
Can you tell that I'm a super planner?
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
We want more! At one point we said we wanted 5...now I'm thinking it will probably be 4. Although there are days where 3 sounds good, and 2 sounds even better!
I wanted our kids to be close in age, about 2 years apart. So I think we'll probably start trying when the girls turn 1. Although as I type this now.....it seems too soon! I keep having to remind myself that pregnancy is 40 weeks long, and also that my pregnancy should be wayyyy different than with the twins! Like the previous poster, mine were spontaneous and happened on our first try. But b/c my girls are ID, I'm not concerned about getting twins again. I feel pretty comfortable about the age gap if we start trying when they are 1.
Good Morning! It took us awhile & w/ help to get our little miracles, but we decided we'll try now w/o help & see what happens (keeping the fingers crossed) I'm 35 & DH is 36. If we are blessed to be able to concieve another I will be done after that.
DH and I would like to have 3-4 kids, he would like to try for another soon, but I'd like to wait a little until they're more independant, we'l probably try next fall that way the boys will be 2.5 years old or 3 years old- depending when we get pregnant.
