I'm a firm believer that if a first name is a little on the unusual side (or flat out kre8ve), then the middle name should be something simple and classic.
Having said that, I'm having a hard time picking out a girl's middle name that is simple and classic (boy's name was very easy for us).
Which of these would you pick to go with an unusual first name?
Elizabeth
Olive
Hazel
Avery
(or suggest your own)
Re: middle names
Elizabeth.
Charlotte, Catherine, Rose, Grace would be other choices.
I knew someone would say that!! lol.
It starts with a vowel and is 3 syllables. That's all I'm going to say.
I'm leaning toward Elizabeth myself, which is my middle name. We'll see ... first baby has to be a girl!
Are you finding out the sex?
hell to the yes.15 days and counting!
I love Elizabeth! My second choice would be Olive followed by Avery.
You mentioned the name you are considering starts with a vowel, so I probably wouldn't start the MN with the same vowel as FN.
Oh okay, that at least narrows it down a bit.
I'd go with Elizabeth out of the choices...but as you can see by my siggy I'm a bit biased.

Uncommon Elizabeth Lastname
Vent:
There is a HUGE difference between creative and uncommon names.
Examples:
Uncommon: My DD is Sable. It has been used as a first, middle or last name for centuries in at least 3 different languages.
Creative: Currently on this board, the name Dhylann is annoying people. This is not a name and gives "Creativity" a bad name as well.
Agreed. Our name is a real name, albeit out of fashion and not used anymore. But it is not made up and does not contain a single extraneous Y.
lol
OOHhhh tell me tell me!!!! I am silent like the grave, and you know I love old-fashioned names.
