Lunch date, going to try not to throw up

So my grandparents are in town for a couple days (today being the last and only time I had available to see them). So I call my mom yesterday and ask if we could do lunch. She kinda hesitates and says, "well, I said I would take them to red top, are you sure you can handle that?" (Red Top is this local restaurant that serves huge burgers. the few times I have been there, it hasn't even been good, they are just big) I've been having SERIOUS meat aversions (my last hamburger was immediately thrown up) so I'm a little nervous. I made sure to eat crackers this morning and a good breakfast so my stomach is feeling pretty solid and hopefully I can make it through.

WIsh me luck!

  • Good luck!

Does mint help you? When my m/s was really bad I kept peppermint hard candies or sugarless mint gum with me at all times and it helped keep my tummy settled. Plus the smell would sometimes overpower the smell of the food I was trying to avoid.

     Hope lunch goes well!

  • good luck! Do they serve anything else? I have not been able to stomach burgers, but most of those places have a salad, or chicken fingers, or something else that I can stomach.
