Our Vegas trip is booked!!!!

We weren't really planning to book it until after New Year's, but I was looking last week just to see what the price was.  The hotel plus airfare was $500 less than it had been every other time I checked previously!  And it was a direct flight, no connections!  I told DH and he said to book it.  On top of that, I went through shop discover and earned an additional 5% cash back bonus.  That adds up to a lot of extra gambling money!  

So we're ready to go--4 nights in Las Vegas at the Signature at MGM Grand.  No babies. 

Does it make me a bad mommy to say that I am SO excited for a few days of just DH and me?  It's been a rough 18 months!

No your not a bad mommy! It just makes you a very normal mommy! You'll come back missing your LO like crazy and your time away will make you appreciate being a mommy more! And you and your dh will have spent some much needed time together and so it doesn't get any better than that!

DH and I are having a child free nite saturday (our first in 1.5 years) and I am ridiculously excited...I can only imagine how psyched I would be for a child-free vacation to vegas with dh!  You guys will have a blast!

Not at all!! I cannot wait till the first non baby trip DH and I get to take. It will be at least 1 to 1 and 1/2 years from now since I am pg, but I am sure I will enjoy it even more:)

We are leaving for a four night trip tomorrow morning... to Vegas!  My first away from DS so I'm glad to read about other parents doing it.  Feel less guilty
