We are re-doing our 1st floor bathroom and I am stumped as to what color to paint the walls.

Our kitchen is a dark-ish red and the rest of the first floor is a light grey-ish taupe. It's a small bathroom so I don't want to go to dark. Vanity is black, sink and toilet are white. I guess I'm somewhat hung up because I wanted to go with a subtle color rather than an off-white or cream.

Any suggestions?? TIA!

a butter yellow? something very warm and mild...like a french vanilla or buttercream

I was originally thinking a soft yellow (to go with the "warm" red in the kitchen), but I hadn't even really considered going with a "cool" color like a light blue/green. Thanks for the ideas ladies!!!

I'm on this crazy yellow kick too! But I was afraid it would clash with the grey taupe

I would try a gold-ish yellow color...

I'm not a fan of yellow. A blue-grey would be nice and subltle.
