DH may never have sex with me again

So I had two incidents of spotting in the last week. After the first one, I called the nurse and we decided it was due to sex and nothing to get too worried about, just continue to keep an eye on it. Then the spotting showed up again, so I went in and the midwife confirmed a small abrasion on my cervix. She recommended pelvic rest for at least a week. I told DH no sex for a week, and he said, "oh after the first time I just figured we weren't going to have sex for like 6 months. If it makes you bleed, I don't want to risk that." I guess it's good to know he's ready to make sacrifices for the baby? Hope I can convince him I'll be better soon

I had almost the exact thing happen 2 weeks ago. Light spot after sex, then again 24 hours later. DH is terrified to touch me.  I had a miscarriage in June that "started" with spotting after sex. I know the sex had nothing to do with the miscarriage, but its hard to get out of the back of your mind. Like you I hope we can get by this fear and get down to business. If not there are other ways to be intimate.

Iv had the same problem-  It is annoying and scary-- My hubby has sworn off sex until next August- lol... Yeah right!

I was thinking maybe having me on top would be better, I didn't feel any pain the last time we had sex but still, maybe having more control would be better.

@tkspilot, I can see why your husband would be nervous! Having intimacy in other ways is probably good practice for later, when sex is either not allowed or not particularly comfortable.
