Sleeping almost constantly when sick

Has your lo ever slept almost contantly when having a fever? My lo has a lower fever and has been pretty much just wanting to cuddle and lay around. I took him to the pedi and he said everything looked good and that lo was probably getting a cold. I'm just worried bc this is unlike my lo to act like this after having tylenol.

How long has that been going on?  DD did that once, but for less than 24 hours.  I would be concerned if it went on for more than 2 days, and/or if the fever spiked.

He just started doing it this afternoon, when the fever came on. What did you lo have, when she did this?

If I'm remembering correctly, it was one of those freak illnesses that has no symptoms other than fever and lethargy.  Daycare called me because she had a fever.  I took her home, gave her motrin, and we cuddled all afternoon and evening.  She slept well that night, and the next day she was fine!  Wierd.  I hope your LO feels better soon!
