Sesame Street Live...Who's gone and how did it go?

My awesome sister scored us free seats to sesame street live WITH a meet and greet with the characters before the show. Did anyone go to something like this and how did their LO handle it? Im a little nervous b/c our Santa visit this year was AWFUL (complete meltdown)...

We've never done the meet and greet, but we've seen the show 3 years in a row.  The kids have always loved it.  If Santa was scary I may be tempted to skip the meet and greet portion.

We took our son to Sesame Street Live 1-2-3 imagine when he was 14 months old. ?I expected the worst and was prepared to leave after 15-20 minutes, but he loved it and did very well. ?We got seats in the front because I thought that was the best bet for keeping his attention. ?It seemed to work. ?our Santa visit was AWFUL this year too, I think I might skip the meet and greet with the characters. ?If it were after the show I might give it a try, but if it does not go well, it might ruin the rest of the show for him.?

We went just a few weeks ago and DD loved it.  She paid attention through the whole thing, and was dancing and clapping.  She also is into Santa, and loved the Sesame Street characters.  She isn't one to be scared of much of anything.  But there were tons of LOs there, and I didn't hear any meltdowns at all.
