DS's lovey is expensive!

Oboe's post reminded me that I really needed to find a back up love in case something happened to the one we had.  I've checked every Wal-Mart, Target, and children's store in the area.  $23 on Ebay, and $39.99 on Amazon!  It was a gift from my aunt, and the first thing he's really attached too, the boy has expensive taste!

Re: DS's lovey is expensive!

  • lol ours is too. It was a shower gift, and the cheapest I can find it is 16 dollars.

  • IMO they are all pricey... it's all a scam... those lovey makers know they've got us!  I mean really.... they make these loveies... our kids get hooked and we HAVE to buy more... they are robbing us!!

BUT they make the kids happy and that is all that counts.... I just ordered another one for DD - now we will have 4 in rotation.  They are all the same...

  • I was going to buy another one just in case but it's discontinued! I can't find it anywhere. I saw it on Ebay once for $34.99 and should have bought it, but now there aren't anymore. We're screwed if she loses it.

  • I haven't tried this yet, but a friend of mine starting putting a new love along side of the old one so when the old one died out her LO was used to the new one.
  • This prompted me to search online to see if I could find DS's.

    I cannot.

I found something similar, though. His lovey is a jersey knit Chicago Bears blanket that came with part of a Bears gift set. The set I found is $30.

    I like privacy. A lot.
  • My DS has expensive taste too!  His lovey is the Aden & Anais blankets - which are around $40
