We always do a lasagna for Christmas dinner. We have my family and DH's family over, so it is something that was can make in mass quantity easily. We usually do lasagna, meat on the side (meatballs, spare ribs and sausage used in making sauce) and italian bread and garlic bread. I usually do a garden salad as well. I fee that is so boring though. Any ideas on what would be a side that would go with lasagna that wouldnt be too weird?

Antipasto dish
Tomato/Mozzarella Skewers drizzled with olive oil and basil
I love the idea of tomato/cheese skewers.
You could also do a chicken parmigiana, mozzarella sticks, a cheese plate, baked brie, stuffed peppers. . .
Oohhh I am loving this. My mom usually makes a cold antipasto platter she brings for an appetizer, too
