Liam M-----?!

My DH's current favorite name is Liam. I have nothing against the name, but I think it sound horrible with our last name. Our last name starts with an M and is 2 "soft" syllables. When said together it sounds like mumbling to me. What do you ladies think?

I kind of agree with you, but I also don't think it's that big of a deal.

DH and I considered Liam Michael for our boy name (first and middle) and while I thought it kind of ran together, I don't think it's that bad.

We've got an M last name, too, and I've pretty much cut out all names that end with M for that reason.

Not taking into consideration that I cannot stand Liam, it doesn't sound good with an M last name. Our last name starts with S and we've eliminated all first names that end in S.

This.  We've had to eliminate names we love for this very reason.
