Hello Ladies!! I need your help to keep me updated during the holidays?everything is so crazy around here and with work. If you know of a birth or you have any new info, please post below! I appreciate your help as I don?t get to lurk as often as I?d like. Countdown to Christmas: 2 weeks 6 days!
If you would like to be added, please answer these questions in a post below:
1) What is your name (if you want to share)?
2) When did you start TTC?
3) What is your diagnosis, if you have one?
4) What treatments have you done?
If any information I have listed needs changed or if you want anything added or if you were previously listed in the ?No Diagnosis Yet? section and now have one, please be sure to let me know so I can update. Good luck, everyone!!
** We?ve got some 3Ters pursuing adoption so I?ve added a section for that. Please let me know if you would like to be added.**

Re: **3T Weekly Check-In**
Update: Finally got to CD1...I don't think I ovulated but it was one of my shorter unmedicated cycles at 42 days.
QOTW: A favorite thing I remember about Christmas was my G'ma always used to send me an ornament each year.
A tradition was we all used to decorate the tree together listening to Christmas music (unfortunately that doesn't happen anymore as we're all off doing our own thing. We also used to wrap all the Christmas gifts on Christmas Eve and stay up really late putting them all under the tree (this was when my younger brothers believed in Santa).
Our new tradition with DH is spending Christmas Eve with his family every year and doing a gift card Dirty Santa. We have a great time!

Update: Blah, Blah, Blah still doing TI with our MFI while saving til spring for IUI's.
QOTD: My mom always does an ornament every year too. Two years ago she got me a Strawberry Shortcake ornament and now every morning and every night I go smell it because it smells like my childhood.
But the tradition that stands out is every year listening to John Denver & The Muppets Christmas album while putting up the tree.
I've been doing for 29 years.

My Blog
IUI was on Friday morning. I go back & forth between trying to remain hopeful & positive, to reminding myself the odds are against us so I am not crushed when I get af.
QOTW: Going to my gradma's x-mas eve is one of my favorite traditions.
Love & luck to my 3TC girls. Congrats to Omega-The boys are here!
If there's one thing I've learned while waiting my turn,
it's that in each life some rain falls but you also get some sun.
After 2 years & 2 losses, our little man arrived 8-2011.
Update: Started 50iu of Follistim last night and got a terrible headache about 2 hours later. I hope it was just a coincidence because if not, the next week is going to be rough.
QOTW: My parents still write the name tags on my presents as "From: Santa." I think it's cute.
Update: Feeling like AF is on her way shortly
that means only 2 more cycles to wait till TTC is back on track.
QOTD: My family is bi-religious so I love going to my grandma's house to celebrate Chanukah and have latkis with my moms side of the family and then a few hours later, going down the street to celebrate Christmas with my dad's side of the family.
Update: Break cycle. Meeting with RE to go over things and come up with a plan of where to go from here. We'll be discussing doing a lap and looking at continuing IUI vs going to IVF.
QOTW: I love going to my aunt and uncle's on Christmas Eve. We've done that for as long as I can remember. Both my aunt and uncle come from pretty big families so their house is usually packed with family. It's great.
Carolers usually stop by too...It's just a very fun evening!
DX: High FSH/DOR
It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm!
?Our Baby Boy Born June 26th, 2012?
Look at that growing BFP list... eek. Good luck to everyone! I hope we are all on that list very soon.
Update: I triggered last night for IVF #2.2. ER is tomorrow morning. I'm hoping they get lots of great quality eggs from me and we got our first ever BFP for Christmas... that would be the best gift ever.
QOTW: I can't think of anything specific. I just enjoy spending time with family and eating yummy, unhealthy food.

) What is your name (if you want to share)? Cara

4) What treatments have you done? Still Testing
QOTW: What is a favorite past Christmas memory/gift/tradition? My granfather dressing up as Santa each year--even though most of us were still in college, he still did it--Christmas was his favorite! Since he has passed, we usually watch old home videos on Christmas Eve when that side is together.2/21/11: IVF #1 Begins and results in TWINS!
11/4/11: The twins are born at 36w4d!
11/5/11: We said goodbye to our sweet baby girl as she was born with multiple complications and a severe heart defect, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.
Update: Looks like ET will be on Tuesday even though we only have one embie doing well right now. I'm praying that both embies grow and are good for transfer on Tuesday so we don't have to break out our single frosty embie.
QOTW: When I was little my grandma would have my sisters, cousins and I act out the Christmas story on Christmas day. Until my other grandma died she had my mother's family get together about a week before Christmas to celebrate together. Now, my sisters and I and our families meet up with my parents and spend Christmas together. I love it! Not having kids of our own, seeing my nieces and nephews on Christmas makes Christmas.

Update: IUI #2 was this morning, so I'm in the 2WW. I had 2 good follies and DH's numbers were good, so keeping fingers crossed.
QOTD: My favorite tradition was Christmas night dinner at my grandparent's house. So much fun. And many other traditions- I love this time of year!
After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!
Update: I am in the 2ww. I'm supposed to test on Wed (14dpiui) and call the RE. I will probably test tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed!
QOTW: Every year my family attends a church service on Christmas Eve and then we go home and watch A Christmas Carol together.
Update: I triggered yesterday. This is our third Clomid/Follistim/Ovidrel cycle with TI. I'm really hoping for a Christmas Miracle but I'm not too hopeful because my response to the meds wasn't great this cycle. If this cycle doesn't result in a BFP then we will be moving on to Injectables only and I'm going to talk my doctor into IUI's.
QOTW: Our tradition all through elementary school and high school was that there weren't any Christmas presents placed under the tree until Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas morning it was magical to wake up and have all of the presents there for the first time.
Update: This was our 1st clomid cycle, I tested yesterday (12 dpo) and BFN. I also started spotting yesterday. So...it looks like on clomid I Oed about a week earlier than ususal, and my LP will be at least 13 days (up from an average of 10-11 days pre-clomid). So I'm optimistic that our next clomid cycle may bring us a BFP!!
QOTW: I just love decorating the tree while listening to Christmas music!!
Update: I am on cd 9, but my temps are starting to go down and I am pretty sure that I will be moving on to injects next week. They are already in my fridge waiting.
QOTW: One newer tradition is celebrating "Christmas" with my BFF and her family with a dinner a couple of days before Christmas. We usually order take-out Olive Garden so that no one has to cook. DH and I have a tradition of going to the theater and having a movie marathan day. We try to go to 3 or 4 movies. We also try to go somewhere to see a big lights display.
On Christmas morning, we always get up and go down and get our stockings off the fireplace and then take all the presents out from under the tree and make piles for each person in "their" spot. Then we open stockings first - everyone at once. Then each person gets to take a turn opening all their gifts. DD is first, followed by DH and then me.
I would like to be added!
1) What is your name (if you want to share)? Jenny
2) When did you start TTC? for #2 May 2010

QOTW- I really just love being around family and playing games and eating.
Update: Started my 5th and final cycle of Clomid of Friday. Monitoring on 12/10.
QOTW: My fav memory was me and my sisters getting all dressed up in our Christmas outfits and spending the day at my Gram's house on Christmas Eve.
My favorite tradition was the family decorating the tree together.

Update: Nothing. Still on our break cycle.
QOTW: When my brothers and I were little our family would go up and spend every Christmas at my Grandparent's. It was always so much fun to wake up there on Christmas morning with cousin and other family.
For the last couple years my family has started a new tradition and everyone comes to DH and I's house (which is quite a feat since everyone is spread across the country).
Update: Still in the 2ww. Trying to not POAS until Friday
QOTW: My favorite tradition was going with my Grandpa to cut down an 11+ foot tree and helping him decorate it. It was always something that him and I did. They moved out of the house that could hold such a tree and I got their 9 foot artificial this year for my own house. It was bittersweet decorating such a large tree by myself.
Been a while since I checked in here...
Update: Nothing new really. DH's Testosterone #'s over doubled after 4 weeks on the Clomid/Arimidex combo. His uro added Conception XR to the mix and he'll have another SA in January. I'll have my HSG and baseline u/s done and then we should have our IVF consult before the end of January.
QOTW: When my grandmother was alive, we used to travel to her house for Christmas. She was Italian and would serve "the feast of the 7 fishes" on Christmas Eve.
Update- After 4 rounds of Clomid in 2 cycles we are moving on to injects. I started Provera on Friday and will take it for 12 days. So it will probably be 20 or so days until AF starts for me. I'm nervous but excited.
QOTW: My favorite childhood tradition was the whole family decorating the tree while playing christmas music and drinking eggnog!

Update: Still in the 2WW. I am planning on testing on Friday 13 dpiui. My beta is scheduled for Saturday.
Update: I triggered Friday night. I had IUI #2 this morning and if I don't have a temp rise tomorrow, we'll do a back to back IUI in the morning.
QOTW: My sister and I watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Jim Carrey) on Christmas Eve. We also make homemade Christmas goodies during the week, to enjoy on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. She is in college now, and comes home to spend Christmas with us. We go back to my parents on Christmas morning to have our "old school" Christmas.
Another one of my favorites is stockings. I LOVE to stuff stockings and to un-stuff my own stocking.
GL LADIES of 3T!
No update.
QOTW: My favorite tradition is buying ornaments each year. Also my family always rides around Nashville looking at Christmas lights the week of Christmas. The country music stars always decorate big!
DH and I started a tradition a few years ago where we open our presents together at midnight on Christmas morning. We have to go 2 places on Christmas Eve and 3 or 4 places on Christmas Day so it's a fun little thing that we started to make sure we have time for each other.

Update: IUI #3 was a BFN. We hve an appointment with RE on Dec 8th to discuss next steps, which is probably going to be IVF. If IVF then we will have to take a break for a few months to save up since all our expenses are OOP.
QOTW: Just last year my cousins started a new tradition of getting together to have a Christmas party without my aunts and uncles in addition to having the normal party with eveyone including the aunts and uncles. I had to miss this year's party, this past Saturday since I have an exam on Monday that I must pass.

QOTW: We have started a new tradition of hosting my family at our house on Christmas Eve, and I really look forward to it.
Update: We canceled the varicocele surgery after meeting with the RE, who told us it most likely wouldn't help enough. We are planning to start IVF with ICSI in January or February.

QOTD: I don't celebrate Christmas, but growing up we'd go to the local homeless shelter on Christmas as a family and help to cook/serve their big Christmas dinner.

QOTW: One of my favorite traditions is watching A Christmas Story every year
I watch it on repeat and cant get enough of it. We have family traditions on Christmas Eve we only eat seafood and no meat (Italian tradition), MH and I are starting our own traditions here and there. Oh and something special that will always remain during christmas is the stockings my grandmother crocheted for us all before she passed. She made these beautiful red and green and white stockings with santas face on them and our names stitched on the front. We even had her make some blank ones for when we got married and had kids. I have one for my first born, but shhhhh most of my family doesnt know!
Still on Clomid, round 2. I go in today for my follie check to see how well I responded. Fingers crossed for at least one good one!
QOTW: What is a favorite past Christmas memory/gift/tradition?
I guess my favorite tradition is making bacon dessert with my best friend. We started 3 years ago making a new one every year. Last year was bacon toffee and the year before that was bacon cupcakes. Both were so good!!!
Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266
*Cautiously expecting baby girls on November 28, 2011*
My update: Going in for another follie check tomorrow (CD 20). The last one on CD 16 showed a few growing, the biggest being an 8. Hopefully, I'll be able to trigger soon, then do our first IUI!
QOTW: Our traditions have changed quite a bit over the past 10 years or so. DH is jewish so we used to go to his parent's for hanukkah until they moved out of state. We try to visit them in December or January every year but weren't able to swing it this year. For Christmas, we just go to my parent's for Christmas Eve then get to spend Christmas Day with each other. It's actually pretty nice to have a nice relaxing day.
Cycle #28...waiting to hear from the doctor. Another medicated/trigger month or right onto IVF. We'll see.
QOTW: I have 7 siblings. So my Mom always played a game with us in the mornings. She wrapped each of our gifts in a different paper and then lined them up. We had to figure out (a) which was our paper and (b) what was the order of that year. It was something I always looked forward to.
Update- Nothing really new. I'm hoping to O this week sometime. My past O's have both been CD17 so I'm hoping to stick with that pattern, if not go a little sooner.
QOTW: I always loved decorating the tree. We had a system where Mom, my brother and I would put up all the ornaments, then Dad would do the lights, and the angel wouldn't go up until the end. It was always a fight between my bro and I who got to put the angel on top.
TTC since 2010
lots of IUIs and 1 IVF all BFNs
FET currently on hold

Update: Waiting to hear if IVF is approved by insurance. If not, we're on to IUI#3. I'm happy with either. Just waiting for AF...
QOTW: Fav gift: Baby Alive back in 1983. Fav memory: my dad rec'vd a CD player in the 90's and we bought him a George Michael CD - "Cuz I gotta have Faith, aaaahhh, I gotta have Faith" We blasted that CD all day long. Fav tradition: After getting the tree and/or wreath - that first wiff of "Christmas"... Christmas trees smell so good!
Trying on our own until January. We'll ask about IUIs and an RE referral at my annual on Jan. 25th if no BFP before then.
QOTW: My favorite memory is of my Pawpaw who passed away in 2006. He loved Christmas, and he was always just as excited as we were to see what we got! He never saw the gifts my Granny bought before she wrapped them. He was such a loving person. I have a clear glass ornament with his picture in it on our tree ever year, and that has become a new tradition.

QOTW: What is a favorite past Christmas memory/gift/tradition? Growing up we always went to my paternal grandparents' house for Christmas Eve and opened our presents from them, but also got to open 1 present from mom. It was always new christmas pajamas that were really cute and we changed into them for the ride home and on the way home we went through Peacock Lane, (a street in Portland that is famous for going all-out with decorations and light displays). Made Christmas Eve fun and the Christmas photos the next morning cute in those matching festive pajamas!
