I can't deal with my niece on DH's side and I'm pretty sure my MIL caught me glaring at her this morning and I feel terrible. I know my MIL knows said niece is really difficult but she loves unconditionally as she should, she is after all her grandchild.

I'll spare you the details of why I can't stand her b/c that'll raise my blood pressure and it'll irritate me more. Let's just say she is OUT OF CONTROL and her parents don't have a CLUE to discipline her. Everything about her: her behavior, her bad eating habits (let's just say all she eats: cookies, sugary popsicles, Fruit Loops and Tampico for juice) is what I fear Oona would take note and pick up.

I'm at the inlaws right now and all she does all day is either CRY, fight with Oona or eat junk food in front of Oona's face. 

Ok. vent over. sorry if non of this makes any sense. I'm just irritated.

Sounds like its her parents you can't stand. Poor nutrition and no discipline are not her fault.

I agree with what Kelly has already stated. Your issues seem rooted in the bad parenting she is getting and shouldn't be taken out on her. Your niece is an innocent and it's not her fault.
