DH and I are having a hard time trying to find a fun Christmas present for DD that she doesn't have already. I started thinking maybe a puppet would be fun? WWYT would your LO's like this or no?

DD likes to put her socks on her hands and walk around moving her fingers like a mouth going, "cack cack cack," so I'm guessing she'd love a puppet.  DS would be like, "Oh look, a puppet.  Next!"

DS got a dog puppet for his Bday... he likes to play with it but doesnt understand how to put it on his hand and move the mouth... he loves it when we do it though and put on a little show for him

We have a good collection of puppets that all of my kids love.  They even put on shows for each other.  DD2 cracks up whenever she sees them.

Have you seen the Melissa and Doug build your own puppets?  They have a princess and a monster.  They're really cute and well made.  I bought one for my niece (the monster) a few years ago.

yeah those were the ones we ended up getting. We decided on a princess and a pirate. We will see if she likes them!
