So I've been a danskos girl for a while, I LOVE them. That said, my latest pair are BEYOND their last leg. Gone from most comfortable shoes in the whole entire world to shin splints, sciatica, back pain, charly horses, etc. I really need to replace them. But we are coming up on that time where there is a possibility of your feet growing... (and every woman I've mentioned this to has responded with, "oh and they will!") I don't want to spend $120 on shoes that aren't going to fit ever again in two to three months, but I don't want to be a cripple by the time my feet grow!
Anyone have any experience with inserts or pregnancy orthotics???? I'm just wondering if I could find a pair of cheaper shoes I wouldn't be so upset about throwing out and then spend the money on the inserts and still be comfortable...
Re: pregnancy orthotics?
I was having a lot of problems with pain in my feet and knees a few years ago and my doctor recommended Super Feet. They come in various heights and sizes and are AMAZING. They also have a 100% satisfaction return policy regardless if you cut them to fit your shoes. Near me, they are available at Sport Chalet and cost around $45.
My dad has had foot and back problems for nearly 30 years and has said that these are better than some of his custom orthotics.
