OK so help me start a boy-name list for DH

A few qualifiers:

Our son is named John Edward, goes by Jack, so no J names. 

Last name starts with V, ends in what rhymes with "peas".

DH has vetoed Charles, Logan, and Vernon (both family names) outright. He likes William and his best friend is named Joshua, so that may be the middle name. 

I like Eli, Elliott, and Elias. A contender when naming DS was Emmett but that is too Twilighty for me, and we also considered Silas with little objection.

I think Elias is okay.  I LOVE Emmett.  I am not into Twilight, but I have a friend that is and she is naming her son Emmett and I asked her if she got it from Twilight and she had to really think to remember which character was Emmett.  I don't think it is that big of a deal, Edward...maybe....Bella...DEFINITELY!  I tend to like double t names.  I also LOVE Declan.  GL!

I am no help because I like all the names you picked! Emmett doesn't remind me of Twilight because I have no idea who that character is lol. I only know of Edward and Bella. I think my favorite is Silas.

I tell myself that the Twilight hype WILL die down and no one will ever link Isabella, Edward, Emmett, Rosalie, Alice, Esme, or Jasper (among the other names...) to Twilight again.

I love Emmett. Love Eli. They both sound great with Joshua or William.

I don't think so since it is a mn and is a family name...just steer clear of Cullen as a mn.  ;-)

Ellis is pretty girl-centric now I have noticed because of Grey's Anatomy.

As a teacher I have had bad luck with Elijah/Elisha so those are out. Not one of them went by Eli though until this year and this one I really like.

Our current boy list: Mickey Gideon Tobias Martin Jude Dennis Ari Elliott- Sorry C&P from my phone so that list probably looks weird. *My* favorite is Ari and I am not giving up on it any time soon. Dennis is also a top contender.

FWIW, I also don't think of Twilight when I hear Emmett--or even Edward for that matter. Bella and Jacob yes. I think if you want to go with Emmett, people won't automatically think Twilight.

DS's name is Henry and we're thinking of naming this one John (if it's a boy). Both are classic and I think they go well together.

Love William, with the nn Will (obviously). I also think Will and Jack sound great together!

Joshua could turn in to Josiah if you don't like it for the mn (don't know if you do?)

I don't like Emmett. Don't know why. It could be because of all the EM girl names going around right now?

LOVE Eli and Elliot. Meh on Elias.
