found out we lost our baby last night :'(

I posted about not being able to hear the heart beat at 10 and half weeks but most people just said it was too early and not toworry.  I was scheduled for an U/S appt this upcomming thurs but i knew something was wrong, so we went to the ER yesterday.  althought I wasnt and am not having any symptoms at all they did blood tests and and internal and external U/S we waited for about an hour then the doc came in and gave us the bad news.  I cried histeracly and have not yet been to sleep and one of the owrst parts is that my 5 year old son has been soooo excited to have a little brother or sister (he wanted a sister and so did I) and now we dont know how or what to tell him.  he was rubbig my barly there stomach and kissing it!  my heart is broken this is the only MC I have had and just dont knw what to do or think or how to act or where to go from here.

I encourage you to reach out to the mc/pl board here - it is the only thing that got me through my losses when I thought no one understood. And, while not heartening to hear now, there are many us who are successfully pregnant and parenting after losses - so in your own time, you can return.

I am so sorry to hear this. I miscarried this past summer, at 6 weeks. We had already told my 6 yr old and 9 yr old that I was pregnant. We told them the baby was sick and couldn't grow in mommy's tummy anymore. When they asked why it was sick, we said we didn't know exactly but that we would have another baby again someday. They took it much better than I thought they would. Take care of yourself! I know this is an extremely hard thing to handle.

I know what your feeling right now I went through the same thing with my last pregnancy. God will see you through, I know thats hard to trust right now but there is peace in the storms. Praying for you and your sweet family.
