Putting LO to bed question?

My LO only goes into her crib if she's fully asleep. If not, her eyes pop open and she screams until we get her. How can I put her down not fully asleep?

She is swaddled.

I have no idea.  But just wanted to say I love the name Sarah.  It was our 2nd choice and will probably be our choice if we have a 2nd girl.

Someone bought us this seahorse that plays like 5 different songs, and it has like water/bubbles playing underneath the songs. We can put her in the PNP or the crib with the sea horse, and hit it a couple of times so that it will play for her - even if she is wide awake - and she ends up going straight to sleep.

Thought id butt in and say Sarah an AWESOMEEEE name for only awesome people and also to get LO to stay asleep. i pop in the paci &  turn on the seahorse, If he pops his eyes open again, my bestfriend bought me this ocean wonders light thing (really bad with names and its all the way upstairs) but you aim it towards the ceiling and it plays a little light snow that LO falls asleep to almost instantly. Fisher price = pretty amazing people.
