Massive headache...HELP

Our furnace has been out for the past 4 days and we all know how cold it's been the past few nights. We've been hudled up in the bedroom with space heater to sleep. The heater has given me the most terrible headache, like literally struggling to keep my eyes open type of headache and my head is so dried out. I have an event that I'm in charge of this evening at work so going home isn't an option today. I took my tylenol but it isn't touching it. I am so tempted to take a Goody powder just this once but I don't want to be a bad mommy. Anyone else been approved to take something besides tylenol for a a one time occasion?

Re: Massive headache...HELP

  • Have you tried a little caffine? Sometimes that helps. Hope it goes away soon, pregnant headaches are no fun! Let me know if you guys need anything!

  • :-( Yes, I have my coffee right here.  Nothing has made it better.  I just want to curly up and close my eyes and go to sleep.  Not happening today thought unfortunately.

  • I would call your doc's office and see if they will let you take the Goody's if you think it will help. I would think one time use wouldn't hurt Naomi, but I know it always feel better to get verification from the pros.

Hope you feel better soon. As a migraine sufferer, I understand the pain!

  • Get your blood pressure checked. Does anyone else in the house have a headache? If yes, think about carbon monoxide. . .can cause severe headaches. Yes, caffeine is great for headaches. GL and feel better!
