For those using Seahorses/Glow Worms for bedtime

Do you put these in the crib with LO? Steal it back once they are asleep? I'm not quite sure how to use it since we're not supposed to have anything in there with her.

i keep DD swaddled so i just leave it in there but away from her head of course.

I leave it next to little one if he cant see the light he FLIPS out . I just take it out  or move it later !
