Trouble TTC

? about new ladies & new board (ticker)

Hey Ladies! I hope everyone is having a good night.

I hope you all don't mind, I'm just curious about the new migration and the new board.  I don't lurk on TTGP much at all anymore but just noticed the new TTGP 6+ board and had a question.

So what's up with the TTGP 6+ board and where are all the new ladies coming from?  Are the new ladies 6+ or 12+ or both?  I'm just curious if people are choosing to migrate to get away from TTGP newbs at 6+ even though most of 3T is 12+?  Or if most of the new ladies are 12+ or with a dx because that technically doesn't fit the new sub board discription?  Just curious.

I promise, I'm not asking this to ruffle any feathers at all, I really hope that doesn't happen.  I'm just curious about how 3T is changing right now since I haven't had as much time to lurk the last week or so as I normally would.

Thanks!

Re: ? about new ladies & new board (ticker)

  • Long story somewhat short:

Some people were feeling like they no longer fit on TTGP because they were over 6 months trying but not at a year. They wanted a new board where they didn't have to listen to newbs. They were told to come here because this board was for 6+ month (?). They intro'd then Eileen approved their board. They probably won't post here anymore.

  • I can try and explain.    I think most of the girls who I know of that have introed lately are between 6-12 months of trying.  Some of them have been diagnosed, some have not.  They introed over here before the approval for the new board went through, so some of them may end up deciding the new board is a better fit, but only time will tell.

Okay, that makes sense.  So 3T is probably not having the giant explosion that it seemed like it was going to have.

Okay, that makes sense.  So 3T is probably not having the giant explosion that it seemed like it was going to have.

Probably not going to see an explosion, maybe more of a trickle effect as some of them lurk a bit and decide where they feel most comfortable.

That's good.  I totally understand the desire to get away from all the stupid newb "OMG it's been 3 weeks" comments, but no one should really want to deal with all the IF issues/posts/comments either.  Hopefully 3T will end up with a good group and a bunch of BFPs soon.  I really want the 3T regs to turn into graduates ASAP.

  • Honestly, I think there was a group of girls of TTGP who want a board where they could all go together (clique) and they considered invading here and then changed their minds when they got their sub-board (which I can't believe was granted so quickly).  I also think that some of them decided they don't want to admit they are having "trouble" - such a stigma.

Of course, the fact that the bump classifies having "trouble" as more than 6 months trying, when no doctor does (unless you are + 35 or have a known issue) is and has been a large part of problem too.  You'd think if the medical community doesn't define trouble as 6 months, they wouldn't either.

Sorry if this sounded bad - guess I am feeling snarky today.

And AMEN Riley to a lot of the regs getting BFP's soon - I really hope so!!!
