sore/tender boobs after done nursing?

I have finally completely finished nursing as of a week and a half ago, and since I've quit (I was down to just a morning and night session), my boobs have been so sore and tender.  Is this normal?

    That happened to me too!! It was awful and lasted about 2 weeks maybe just over that. It felt like 1st tri all over again! Dont worry it fades away.

    It's normal.  We nursed for the last time last Wednesday after only nursing once a day for a few months and my boobs are still pretty sore.  And my hormones are an absolute mess from it.  I figure it'll end soon...
