I need an intervention. :/

I can't stop toy shopping.  My kids have enough and so does the angel we adopted from the angel tree.  I keep finding all these deals though.  Tell me no.  I need someone to take away my computer.  I'm telling myself I can buy now and use them as bday presents throughout the year.

  • It's slickdeals.net that is killing me.  JC Penny has some crazy deals right now.  I don't ever shop there either.

  • I'll be in your support group...I have the same problem.

    THREE deliveries yesterday.......gulp.

  • I keep doing the same thing. A couple of weeks ago I had a talk with DH about wanting the kids to appreciate things more and not wanting to over buy for Christmas like our parents thought they had to do. I was pmsing.

We were done shopping for the kids last week. But, on Monday I bought DD a dollhouse and yesterday I bought DS a train table. DH asked me, "I thought we were done buying for them?" Well, I think the train table is more for me so I don't have to move all that crap when I vacuum! Tonight I told him, "Okay, we are really done. For real." I think.

Yes!!! me too!  Only I've been sending the deals to my mil to buy, lol.  The cars mat with 25 cars...and the shopping cart!!  And target had an ironman costume for 5$ and a spiderman one for 6$.  Too good to pass up.

I'm awful about it because I shop from about August on.  Then on Christmas Eve (or a few days before if I can), I pull everything out and realize how much overboard I've gone.  I know what the kids' big presents are going to be but keep picking up small presents and keep getting tempted by other big presents.
