static & wool dryer ball ?

If I get the wool dryer balls, can I just go ahead and start using them w/ my cloth dipes? Or do I have to do stuff to them first too....

I'm experiencing just a tiny bit of static from my dryer. Not enough to shock or anything, but I'd like to avoid more.

you can just start using them. I made my own, and just always leave them in my dryer.
