What should I do?

So last week I bought my husband's cousin a few gifts for her new baby.  I got the baby a sophie, a outfit from Janie and Jack, and aden and anais swaddling blankets.  Fast forward a few days and my daughter gets hand, foot , and mouth disease....and I don't know what to do with the gifts....I dont want the baby to get it!!  UGH  I don't know if she touched them but she certainly could have.  Everything is still in its original packaging.

    If they're in their packaging they should be fine.  I dont know much about HFM though.

    hmmm... i dunno.  thats pretty nasty and you certainly dont want a pregnant woman or infant getting it.

    maybe disinfect the packages really well?  If you think about it how many people touch that stuff in the store?!?!? when i got things for my newborns even if i bought it.. it got disinfected.  call me anal but rather be safe than sorry.  I say wipe them down.  Also i wouldnt go see her i would let her know whats going on and tell her you'd like to drop the gifts off when everyone is well.
