Cleaning the coffee pot...

I apparently forgot to empty/clean the coffee pot after I last used it... now theres gunk dried/caked on the inside. (I'm ashamed to admit it has been a couple of weeks at least...)

I neeeeeeeeed some caffeine so I can get myself up off the couch and put away my Thanksgiving decorations. What can I use to clean it? Regular dishsoap isn't cutting it. Baking soda/vinegar?

Run a solution of half vinegar half water through the pot, and then 2 cycles of clean water to clear.  Should be good to go after that.

When I worked in the coffee shop, we used a strong mixture of baking soda and water.  For extra scouring power, crushed ice works wonders.  Just dump it in there with the baking soda mixture and swirl.
