umm yeah......Clark made it half way up our stairs the other night. It's cute that he will go up one stair and look at us like is this okay!?!? And then will come down when I say no no no. Time for the gate again!
LOL. Rowan can now climb on and off the couch. It's super annoying. Luckily, so far he hasn't tried to climb out of his crib although last night we heard a huge thud in his room and I thought for sure he had climbed out. Tony went in there though and he was sound asleep...not sure what it was!

Ghost?!?! haha!! Maybe it was a picture or a book...good thing he stayed asleep I always hate that our cats decide to chase each other at night...sounds like a heard of cattle running around!
Uh oh!! I was a huge climber as a child and it makes me wonder if DD will follow in my footsteps. DD climbs the stairs (at my moms, we don't have stairs) to about the 8th step but them turns around and looks at you like she's scared. She seems to be pretty cautious when she does stuff, so hopefully the climbing won't be as bad as when I was little! We can only hope!
Haha. Jalen is my big climber. Landon will just climb on the couch, our bed, and stairs. Jalen climbs on EVERYTHING! Have fun chasing him around to get down.
last night he climbed on top of his chair (his table & chair set in his play room) and stood on the chair.
Today he climbed on top of the ottoman and sat there. It is *just* big enough for him to climb on and sit without falling.
He also climbed up the slide in his play structure last night, and tries to climb on our couch although I think it's a smidge high for him yet without someone to grab on to when pulling himself up.
I can tell he wants to climb on the kitchen chairs (keeps pulling them out) but hasn't tried yet.
He's climbed up the stairs for a *long* time but I don't worry much about it b/c he's really good at it. Unless he starts to play on the stairs, which has disaster written all over it.
He's pretty careful so I don't worry much about him falling but still!
This is going to sound horrible but I know you'll "get" it...
Bwahahahahahahahaha! Welcome to the life of being the mommy of a climbing toddler. It's interesting to say the least! Oh, and never underestimate how fast they can be!

This! As evidenced by the adorable siggy, lol. Never trust them. EVER. Jonah climbs everything, likes to balance on the arms of the couch or the top of his little bookshelf. His fave (not my fave) is climbing on his rocking chair and trying to see how hard he can move it before he almost falls down.
I honestly considered a crash helmet at one time. Not kidding. I know people wonder about me, since my kid always has some sort of bump or bruise (usually on his face) but I swear, most of the time I was RIGHT THERE, and he still managed to crash.
It does get better. My kid has amazing balance now, but getting here was a journey.
Did I mention once they start climbing to NEVER TRUST THEM???? I just don't leave Jonah alone. Not for an instant. He's too creative with the trouble he can find, lol (jumping off the back of the couch, anyone? Jumping from the couch to the ottoman and back????AARRRGGGHHH!!).

OMG! This is Zander too! His favorite thing is to climb in the recliner, stand in it, and get it rocking as far and fast as he can while standing. He gets it going to the point of the feet barely coming up off the floor. Some day, he's going to rocket himself across the room, I just know it. And you're not alone with having a kid that ALWAYS has a bruise.
And Kathy, that's what you get for laughing when Zander kept climbing on the coffee table at the Halloween party! Hahahahahaha!
